trying to swap out an old industrial air plug, will this -04 male half fit the common MIL-C-4109 style couplers?

Because it meets the dimensional requirements of MIL-C-4109, it is meant to interchange with other industrial interchange couplers built to that same standard. It is also called out as accepting Aeroquip FD40 and FD41 (Aro 210), Tru-Flate, and Parker automotive male halves.
