Will this work with a standard air hose fitting?

This quick disconnect has a 1/4-18 NPTF female end, which should be compatible with many standard air hose fittings. Just double-check your hose fitting size to be sure.

got an old FD40 style air plug on a hose, is this one gonna interchange with the common shop couplers
