Got a cylinder that takes a 1-inch rod and the wiper's shot. This the right size to drop in as a replacement?

For a 1-inch rod diameter, yes, this one fits. i got a cylinder with a 1 inch rod, is this the right wiper size or am i gonna be fighting it
