Product Questions & Answers

What kind of stuff is this hose good for pumpin?
Question by: Kent Y on Dec 27, 2025, 11:36 AM
Designed for high-pressure concrete pumping, it's also suitable for cement, plaster, and grout. Make sure to review all application requirements to be sure.

got a concrete line that needs 2 1/2 inch hose, is this one actually 2.50 ID and what’s the outside size?
Question by: Randy F on Sep 27, 2025, 7:52 PM
The inside diameter is 2.5 inches and the outside diameter is 3.46 inches, so you can match it up to a 2.5 inch line while still planning for the larger OD when routing or clamping.

what's the temperature range on this hose? got jobs running in both summer heat and cold snaps and need something that ain't gonna give out on me
Question by: Peggy R on Aug 30, 2025, 10:29 AM
Rated from negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit up to 158 degrees Fahrenheit, so it holds up across a pretty wide swing of conditions. Freeze season and peak summer heat both fall well within that window for most working environments.

what's the working pressure on this hose? got a pump pushing grout through pretty tight lines and need to know it'll hold up
Question by: Dwight R on Mar 9, 2026, 4:13 PM
Rated for up to 1230 PSI, so it's built to handle serious pumping loads. The high-tensile steel cord reinforcement is what gives it that kind of backbone, and the synthetic rubber tube holds up against the abrasive materials running through it. For grout work under pressure, that rating gives you solid headroom.

need to snake this hose around some tight spots, how sharp can i bend it without kinking it?
Question by: Janice F on Sep 10, 2025, 6:07 PM
For tight routing, the minimum bend radius is 11.81 inches. Keeping your bends at or above that radius helps it hold its shape and avoids stressing the reinforcement.
