Product Questions & Answers

trying to hook an ORB port to a british parallel thread port. is this the right adapter for that?
Question by: Norm W on Dec 8, 2025, 9:35 AM
When you need to bridge two thread standards, this straight steel adapter is meant for exactly that job. One end is a 3/4 inch Male SAE O-Ring Boss with 1-1/16-12 UN threads and an O-ring face seal, and the other end is a 1 inch Male BSPP with G 1-11 threads for common G-thread ports.

Got a power unit here with a 3/4" ORB port and I need to tie into some imported equipment running G 1-11 threads. This the right adapter for that situation?
Question by: Phil W on Apr 6, 2026, 5:44 PM
That's what this one's built for. One end is a 3/4" Male SAE O-Ring Boss with a 1-1/16-12 UN thread, and the other is a 1" Male BSPP with a G 1-11 thread. The ORB side seals against an O-ring face, so you get a solid leak-resistant connection on that end. The BSPP side threads into standard G-thread ports, which is what you'll find on a lot of European and internationally sourced hydraulic equipment. Straight configuration, steel construction, and it's only about 47.9mm long, so it fits where space is tight.

Will this fitting hold up okay for a hydraulic setup on a log splitter?
Question by: Howard R on Oct 5, 2025, 7:01 AM
This steel adapter is designed for hydraulic connections where you're mixing SAE and British parallel thread systems. So it should work fine in that kind of setup.
