Product Questions & Answers

Got a piece of equipment with a 1/4" BSPP port and I need to tie into a 3/8" ORFS line. This the right adapter for that?
Question by: Ray S on Feb 28, 2026, 6:30 PM
That's what this one's built for. One end is 3/8" male ORFS with an 11/16-16 UN thread, and the other is 1/4" male BSPP running a G 1/4-19 thread count. Both ends are male, so you'd be threading into female ports on each side. Steel construction, straight configuration, no bends or offsets. If your ports match those specs, you're good to go.

trying to hook an ORFS hose end to a BSPP port, is this the right little adapter for that?
Question by: Brent T on May 14, 2025, 8:59 AM
For tying those two standards together, it bridges a 3/8 inch male ORFS end over to a 1/4 inch male BSPP end in a straight steel adapter.

Will this fitting hold up okay for hooking up hydraulics on my tractor? I need somethin' that won't leak.
Question by: Terry M on Sep 1, 2025, 9:26 PM
Designed for hydraulic applications where a reliable, leak-free connection is critical, this adapter uses an O-Ring Face Seal (ORFS) on one side to achieve that tight seal. Just make sure the 3/8" ORFS and 1/4" BSPP sizes are right for your tractor's connections.
