Got a hydraulic line with a 1/2 NPT male end that needs to connect to a 3/4-16 ORB female port. This the right piece for that?

That's what this adapter is built for. One end is 1/2-14 male NPT and the other is 3/4-16 female SAE O-ring boss, so it bridges those two thread types in a straight configuration. As long as your NPT side is 1/2-14 and your port is a 3/4-16 straight thread O-ring boss, you've got a match.
