Got a metric port on a pump housing and need to tie into a JIC line coming off the manifold. This fitting work for that kind of hookup?

Straight male-to-male adapters like this one are built exactly for that situation. One end threads into your M48 x 2.0 metric port, the other connects to a 1-7/8-12 UN JIC line on the 1-1/2" side.
