Is this fitting alright to use if my setup uses British threads?

got a 1/2" BSPT port on my manifold and need to tie into a 3/8" BSPP line, this fitting handle that kind of crossover?

That's exactly the thread combination this fitting covers. One end is a 1/2" male BSPT (R 1/2-14) and the other is a 3/8" female BSPP swivel (G 3/8-19), so you're bridging both the size difference and the thread form difference in one piece. The swivel on the female end also helps if your line doesn't want to rotate freely during tightening.
