Will this fitting work to connect a 1/2" BSPP female to a 1/4" NPT male?

This straight fitting adapts between BSPP and NPT thread types. It has a G 1/2 - 14 male BSPP end and a 1/4 - 18 NPTF male end.

That's what this one's built for. One end is a G 1/2 - 14 male BSPP thread and the other is a 1/4 - 18 NPTF male. So if your equipment has a female BSPP port and your line terminates in a female NPT connection, this nipple bridges those two right up. Just make sure both receiving ends are female, since both sides of this fitting are male.
