got a hose end that’s 3/4-16 JIC, what exactly does this adapter mate it up to on the other side?

On the other end you get a 1/2-14 male BSPP (British Parallel) connection, so it lets you go from a 3/4-16 female JIC 37 degree flare side over to a male BSPP port or fitting.
