Product Questions & Answers

Got a tight spot on a brake line install where a straight fitting won't clear and a 90 just ain't gonna work either. Would the 75-degree angle on this one give me enough offset to route around the obstruction without needing extra bends in the line?

That angled geometry is exactly what this fitting is built for. The 75-degree offset puts the line exit in a position that splits the difference between straight and a full 90, which tends to solve a lot of clearance problems in cramped brackets and frame-adjacent mounting points. The whole point of this angle is to let the line route naturally without forcing extra bends or stacking adapters on top of each other. If your obstruction is the kind that a 90 overshoots and a straight fitting just can't clear, the 75-degree configuration typically gets you there cleanly.

Reckon this'll fit my brake lines? They're 10mm banjos.

This Brakequip fitting is designed as a direct fit for brake line assemblies using a 10mm banjo bore and 10mm thread size, common in many automotive and light industrial setups.

Trying to tuck a brake line in tight, is that 75 degree bend the whole point of this banjo fitting?

In cramped spots where a straight or even a 90 degree banjo would fight your routing, the 75 degree offset gives you extra clearance so the line can run where it needs to without adding adapters or putting extra bends in the hose.
