Product Questions & Answers

got a small shop air line setup. will this hose handle 160 psi air without getting out of its comfort zone?
Question by: Troy T on Mar 29, 2025, 1:42 PM
For air service, it is rated up to 300 PSI max operating pressure, with an air temperature limit of +160°F. So 160 psi air is within the pressure rating as long as your air temperature stays at or under 160°F.

Running a shop compressor setup and need something that'll handle regular air lines without overthinking the fittings situation. This socketless style work for that, or does it need special ends?
Question by: Stan H on Nov 6, 2025, 7:01 AM
Socketless hose is actually real practical for air line work because it clamps directly onto standard barb fittings without requiring crimped sockets or special tooling. With a 0.38 inch inner diameter and a 300 PSI pressure rating, it handles typical shop air demands without issue. The textile braid reinforcement keeps it from ballooning under pressure, and the synthetic rubber construction holds up well in general shop environments. Just make sure your barb fittings match the 0.38 inch ID and you're set.

Is this hose okay to use with regular unleaded gasoline, like what I'd get at the pump for my car?
Question by: Danny E on Jan 23, 2026, 9:31 PM
This hose is designed to work with gasoline, lubricating oils, air, and water. So yes, it is compatible with regular unleaded gasoline.

got a tight spot to route it through. how sharp can i bend this hose without kinkin it up?
Question by: Bobby J on Aug 3, 2025, 9:33 PM
For routing, the minimum bend radius is 2.75 inches. Keeping your bend at or above that radius helps it stay flexible without kinking, especially when you are snaking it through a cramped area.
