Product Questions & Answers

What kinda stuff can I run through this FC332-12 hose?
Question by: Randy T on Mar 26, 2025, 10:53 AM
This hose is made to handle gasoline, fuel and lubricating oils, air, and water. Just a heads up, it's not the right choice for marine fuel lines or hydraulic impulse applications. And definitely don't use it for air brakes.

does this hose handle both air and water, or is it just one or the other?
Question by: Roy M on Aug 27, 2025, 7:47 AM
Both are covered. The FC332 is rated for air up to 250 PSI and water service as well, though water use is capped at 180 degrees F and air at 250 degrees F. The overall temperature range runs from negative 40 up to 300 degrees F, so it holds up across a pretty wide spread of conditions. Just keep in mind it is not approved for air brake systems and should not be used in hydraulic impulse applications.

got a 3/4 inch line on a little air setup, is this blue Aeroquip hose alright for that kind of use?
Question by: Larry P on Jul 26, 2025, 7:32 AM
For shop air and general air service, it fits the job within its limits. It is rated up to 250 PSI max operating pressure, and the air temperature should stay at or below 250°F.

What kind of stuff can I run through this hose without worryin' 'bout it breakin' down?
Question by: Roy C on Oct 31, 2025, 9:06 AM
This hose handles gasoline, fuel, lubricating oils, air, and water just fine. Keep in mind that for water, you shouldn't exceed +180°F, and for air, +250°F.

got a 3/4 inch air line running to a compressor setup in the shop, this hose gonna hold up to the pressure we're pushing through it?
Question by: Wes J on May 27, 2025, 5:18 PM
For standard shop air use, 250 PSI is the max operating pressure on this hose, and air temperature needs to stay at or below 250 degrees F. The 0.75 inch ID lines up with your 3/4 inch setup, so the fit should work. Just keep in mind this one is not approved for air brake applications, so if that's part of the picture, you'd want a different hose.
