Product Questions & Answers

got a little air line setup in the shop, will this blue hose handle 250 psi all day long?
Question by: Patty O on Apr 18, 2025, 5:58 PM
For pressure, it is rated up to 250 PSI maximum operating pressure. Temperature matters too. Air service is listed up to +250°F, so keep it within that limit when you are running it.

Is this hose okay to use with regular gasoline, or is it just for air and water?
Question by: Troy S on Feb 6, 2026, 12:54 PM
This hose is designed for gasoline, fuel and lubricating oils, air, and water. However, it's not recommended for marine fuel lines or hydraulic impulse applications, and it's not approved for air brake applications.

hose says it's good for air and water both, does that include running it on a compressor line or just shop air kinda stuff?
Question by: Rod A on Apr 21, 2025, 4:01 PM
Shop air, compressor lines, general pneumatic setups, all fair game with this hose. It's rated up to 250 PSI and handles air up to 250 degrees F, so most compressor applications in a typical shop environment fall well within those limits. Just keep in mind it's not approved for air brake systems, so don't run it on any brake line work.

got a little shop compressor, is this blue 3/8 hose ok for air lines up to 250 psi?
Question by: Brent B on Sep 12, 2025, 12:37 PM
For compressed air work, the key limits are pressure and temperature. This FC332-06 hose is rated up to 250 PSI max operating pressure, and it is built to handle air along with fluids like gasoline, fuel, lubricating oils, and water. It also has a -40°F to +300°F temperature range.

What's the smallest I can bend this hose without kinking it?
Question by: Dwayne G on Apr 21, 2025, 9:18 AM
The minimum bend radius for this hose is 3 inches, so keep that in mind during installation.

hose rated for both air and fuel use, or just one of them?
Question by: Sheila W on Jun 4, 2025, 3:08 PM
Both, actually. The FC332 handles air, gasoline, fuel, lubricating oils, and water. That multi-fluid capability is kind of the whole point of this series. The 3/8-inch ID keeps flow moving well across those different media, and the AQP elastomer construction holds up to the range. Just keep in mind it is not approved for marine fuel line use or air brake systems, so those two applications are off the table regardless of what fluid you are running.
