25 feet enough to reach around a decent-sized shop, or should I be looking at something longer for that kind of setup?

For most shop bays and workbench setups, 25 feet covers a solid working radius without a lot of excess hose dragging around. If your compressor is mounted centrally, that length tends to handle the majority of tasks just fine. Bigger floor areas or situations where you're moving between stations might call for something longer, but for a single work zone this hose gives you good reach without fighting a lot of slack.
