what's the fluid viscosity range this motor runs best at, and is there a hard minimum I shouldn't go below?

Recommended viscosity falls between 100 and 200 SUS for normal operation. The hard floor is 70 SUS at actual operating temperature. Let it drop below that and you're asking for accelerated wear on internal components. Worth keeping an eye on if your system runs hot or if you're using a lighter fluid than usual.
