So, this here bushing is 3/4 on one side and 3/8 on the other? Just want to make sure I'm ordering the right thing.

That's right. The hex bushing has a 3/4 inch opening on one end and a 3/8 inch opening on the other.

what's the thread standard on this bushing? got a line of fittings already and need to make sure everything matches up before i order

Ward Manufacturing threads these to the American Briggs Standard for pipe threads, so as long as your existing fittings follow that same standard you should be good to go. It's a pretty common thread spec across industrial pipe systems, which is a big part of why this size gets used as widely as it does.

got a 3/4 inch threaded line and need to step it down, is this bushing the right one for 3/4 to 3/8?

For reducing from a 3/4 inch pipe thread down to a 3/8 inch pipe thread, this hex bushing is sized 3/4 x 3/8 and is threaded to American Briggs Standard.
