i got a 1-1/2 inch female threaded opening but need to step down to 3/4. is this the right bushing for that?

For reducing a 1-1/2 inch threaded opening down to a 3/4 inch connection, that is exactly what a 1-1/2 x 3/4 hex bushing is meant to do. It is threaded to the American Briggs Standard for pipe threads, so it is made to match that thread form.
