Does this reducer thread up to American Briggs Standard, or is it some other thread spec?

American Briggs Standard is exactly what it's threaded to, so it'll match up with standard pipe threads without any issue. The chamfered openings on both ends also make it a good bit easier to get started on the thread without cross-threading or fighting it during assembly.
