got a tight spot on some hydraulic lines, is this the kind of elbow that turns the line 90 degrees and still threads right in?

threads on this thing follow American Briggs Standard, or is it something different?

American Briggs Standard is exactly what these are threaded to, so they'll mate up correctly with other fittings and pipe that follow that same spec. The chamfered openings also make getting them started on the threads a good bit easier during assembly.
