threading on this thing, is it American Briggs standard or something else? got an older setup and need to make sure it'll play nice before I order.

American Briggs Standard is exactly what these are threaded to, so compatibility with standard pipe thread setups is solid. The chamfered openings on each end also make getting it started on the threads a lot easier, which helps when you're working in tighter spots or trying to speed up assembly.
