tubing says it's FDA approved and NSF-51 certified, does that mean it's actually safe to run food-grade air lines with it?
Question by: Patty C on Apr 20, 2025, 6:54 AM
Both of those certifications together make it a solid pick for food and beverage environments. NSF-51 covers food equipment materials, and FDA compliance means the PVC compound meets federal standards for contact with food-related applications. Running clean air lines through a processing facility is exactly the kind of use this tubing was built around. Just keep in mind the minimum working temperature is listed at -5 degrees, so if your facility runs cold you'll want to account for that.

got a tight turn to make in a cabinet, how sharp can i bend this PT200 tubing without kinkin it
Question by: Neal H on Sep 27, 2025, 6:50 AM
Minimum bend radius on the PT200 is 1.5 inches, so you want your bend to stay at or above that to help it keep its shape and flow.
