Product Questions & Answers

hose is rated for petroleum-based fluids, but what about water-based hydraulic fluid? got a system running both at different points and want to make sure one hose handles it
Question by: Daryl B on May 18, 2025, 1:41 PM
Petroleum and water-based hydraulic fluids are both covered with this hose. The synthetic rubber tube is built to handle either type, so running one hose across both fluid types in your system isn't a problem from a compatibility standpoint.

got a tight spot to snake a hose through. how bendy is this H430 100R12 in the -8 size?
Question by: Gene H on Jun 22, 2025, 3:58 PM
For routing and clearance, the published minimum bend radius is 3.54 for this hose, so you will want to keep your bends at or above that to avoid kinking and stressing the reinforcement.
