Product Questions & Answers

Hey, would this hose work alright for running fuel in my old pickup truck? It's got a small block Chevy in it.
Question by: Dustin L on Jun 30, 2025, 1:03 PM
This Weatherhead H057 hose is designed for low-pressure, high-temperature fuel applications in passenger cars, light trucks, and small engines. Just be aware it's not intended for fuel-injected systems.

Got an older carbureted pickup that needs a fuel line replaced, will this hose hold up to that kind of application, or is it more for smaller engine stuff?
Question by: Dean M on Oct 27, 2025, 6:30 AM
Carbureted pickups are exactly what this hose is built for. It covers low pressure fuel delivery in passenger cars and light trucks, so a carbureted setup fits right in that wheelhouse. Just keep in mind it's not rated for fuel injected systems, so if the truck runs a fuel injection setup, this wouldn't be the right call. For a traditional carbureted engine though, the Nitrile tube material and Neoprene cover give you solid resistance to fuel and heat both.

got a small engine that runs hot, is this hose meant for that kind of fuel line work
Question by: Bobby F on Mar 22, 2026, 5:12 PM
For small engines and other low pressure fuel lines that see higher temps, the H057 series is a good match. It is called out for low pressure, high temperature fuel service in passenger cars, light trucks, and small engine applications, with a nitrile tube and a neoprene cover for abrasion resistance.
