Product Questions & Answers

what's the minimum bend radius on this hose? got a tight routing situation in a machine bay and need to know if it'll work before I order 250 feet of it
Question by: Steve K on Feb 17, 2026, 5:09 PM
The minimum bend radius on the H009 is 3 inches. If your routing has turns tighter than that, you'd want to plan for a different path or a different hose, but for most standard machine bay layouts that radius gives you decent flexibility without kinking.

got a short run for air tools, is this H009 hose meant for air service or is it more for hydraulic oil
Question by: Randy B on Aug 14, 2025, 8:12 AM
For air and general multi purpose service, the H009 is a good match. It uses a synthetic rubber tube with a black synthetic rubber cover, and it is built with a 1 ply textile braid reinforcement.

Can this hose handle bein' outside in the summer heat without crackin'?
Question by: Ray J on Mar 31, 2026, 5:18 PM
This hose is made with a synthetic rubber cover that provides standard abrasion resistance, so it should hold up reasonably well in outdoor conditions, although extreme heat may shorten its lifespan.
