Product Questions & Answers

Got a setup running H277 hose and wondering if this swivel fitting'll hold up where we got some shock load going through the line. That a good match or should I be looking at something else?
Question by: Duane D on Apr 12, 2025, 7:32 AM
Running H277 with this fitting is exactly what it's built for. The application spec calls out H277 and H435 as the right hose pairings when shock hazards are present, so you're already lined up correctly. The carbon steel construction and Dura-Kote plating help it hold up in rougher conditions, and the swivel design takes some of the stress off the hose assembly during movement or pressure spikes.

This fitting is best for general purpose hydraulic systems operating at low to medium pressures.

got a hose setup that takes a -16, is this fitting the right dash size for that?
Question by: Dale T on Oct 26, 2025, 6:20 PM
It’s a -16 hose dash size fitting with a female 1 inch FPT end, so it matches assemblies that call for a -16 and a 1 inch FPT connection on that end.
