Flow adjustments on this valve can be made while the system is pressurized, so you won't need to shut things down to dial in your feed rate. Once you get the setting where you want it, there's a locknut included to hold it in place. The tamperproof adjustment key comes standard, and if you'd rather have something easier to turn by hand, a knurled aluminum knob is available as an optional upgrade. Both ports are 1/4-18 NPT female, so it should thread right into a standard 1/4 NPT setup without adapters.

For that kind of setup, it fits the bill. It meters flow in one direction so you can slow the actuator, and it allows free flow in the opposite direction so return speed is not choked off.
