both circuits run off the same shaft on this thing, right? trying to figure out if the 14.65 up front and the 1.58 in the rear are independent sections or if it's some kind of blended output

Both sections share a single drive shaft and turn together, but they put out flow independently through separate outlet ports. The front section displaces 14.65 cubic inches per revolution and the rear puts out 1.58 cubic inches per revolution. Each has its own outlet, sized differently, so you can route them to separate circuits. That setup is pretty common when you need one high-flow circuit and a lower-flow auxiliary circuit running off the same power source.

Will this pump work okay on a dump truck application?

Application-wise, this double vane pump can definitely handle dump truck setups, along with metal cutting, wheel loaders, and plastic injection molding.
