got an unused 3/4-14 NPT port on a valve block, is this the right kind of plug to cap it off?

For closing off a 3/4-14 MNPT pipe port, this hex head plug is made for that job. It uses a male NPT tapered thread to seal in the threaded opening and block the port on things like manifolds, valves, and other hydraulic components.
