got a hose that measures about 1.42 on the inside. is UC36 the right projectile size for that?

Fit is based on hose or tube inside diameter. UC36 is meant for a 1.42 inch I.D. line (listed I.D. is 1.4173 in). For I.D. sizes 2 inches or less, the projectile outside diameter is typically about 20% larger than the I.D. so it wipes the inside as it travels.

what's the right pressure to run one of these projectiles through a 1.42 inch line? got an air supply but not sure if what i got is enough

Anywhere from 85 to 150 PSI will get the job done. Below 85 and you're not likely to get a clean pass through, and you don't want to push past 150 either. Most shop air setups in that range will work fine as long as your supply stays steady through the shot.
