Product Questions & Answers

What size hose is this clamp designed for? Just want to make sure it's gonna be the right fit.

Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 27, 2025, 4:25 PM
got some hose runs going pretty far across the machine bay and they keep sagging and rubbing against the frame. would something like this hold up for that kind of setup?
Question by: Roger L on Nov 17, 2025, 4:59 PM
Long runs are exactly what these clamps are made for. The vinyl coating on the steel body keeps the hose from chafing against the mount point, and the closed 1.5 inch ID gives it a secure hold without putting stress on the hose wall. The lining is also rated to handle high ambient temperatures, so heat in the work area shouldn't be a problem.

trying to tidy up a long run of hose, would this clamp keep it from rubbing through where it touches the frame?
Question by: Tommy M on May 7, 2025, 11:00 AM
For longer hose runs, the vinyl-coated steel and the lined interior are meant to support the hose while helping prevent chafing, exposure, and damage from rubbing points.

these clamps got a vinyl coating on em, will that hold up if the ambient temps get pretty high around the hose runs?
Question by: Tony J on Mar 6, 2026, 9:05 AM
The vinyl lining on these clamps is built to handle elevated ambient temperatures, so heat in the surrounding environment won't cause it to break down prematurely. That coating is what keeps the clamp from chafing or wearing into the hose over time, and it holds up well in warm industrial settings.
