Recommended for use on all Enerpac pumps and cylinders where space and porting permits, this high-flow coupler is standard equipment on most Enerpac cylinders.

got a male high-flow coupler on an Enerpac cylinder already. is this CH-604 basically that same standard piece?

On a lot of Enerpac cylinders, the high-flow coupler is standard equipment, and CH604 is the male half version of that high-flow coupler.

coupler blew off my setup last week and I'm pretty sure it wasn't fully seated before we pressurized it. this the kind that can't be coupled under pressure either, right?

Correct on both counts. Pressurizing before the connection is fully made is how most coupler failures happen, and this one is no exception. It should only see pressure once it's completely connected, and you should always bleed the line before breaking the connection. That's not a limitation unique to this coupler, it's just the right way to run any high-pressure hydraulic fitting, but it does matter at 10,000 PSI.
