What's the horsepower limit on this thing, and does it matter which spider I run with it?

Horsepower capacity does vary depending on the spider material. With a Buna-N spider, you're rated at 7.2 HP at 1800 RPM. Step up to a urethane spider and that rating jumps to 11.9 HP at the same speed. Those figures are based on driving hydraulic pumps with a service factor of 1.5, so if your application is something other than a pump drive, the usable rating may differ. Worth keeping in mind when you're spec'ing it out.
