trying to swap out a small hydraulic connector, is this one just the male M10 x 1 thread fitting?
Question by: Hank T on Dec 3, 2025, 6:00 AM
The key detail is the thread size. It is a Brakequip male fitting with an M10 x 1 thread, so it matches hydraulic connections that call for a male M10 x 1.

Does this fitting thread match up with standard M10 x 1 hydraulic line fittings, or is it something proprietary to Brakequip?

M10 x 1 is a standard metric thread pitch, so it will mate with any female port or connector carrying the same M10 x 1 specification. Brakequip machines these to industrial tolerances, which means the fit and sealing surface should be consistent with other quality fittings in that thread class. Nothing proprietary about the thread itself.
