part number HFIFX15 -- is that the female 7/16NS side that threads into the component, or is the 3/4NF the part that goes in?

The female 7/16NS end is the receiving side, meaning it accepts a male 7/16NS fitting. The 3/4NF side carries external threads, so that end screws into whatever port or component you're connecting it to. got a hose end with 7/16NS on it. is this the fitting that steps it over to 3/4NF with external threads?
