trying to swap a banjo end on my brake line, is this the one with the 12mm outside and 8.5mm hole?

This fitting is sized to work with standard hydraulic brake line hose ends within the Brakequip system, so as long as you're using those, you should be good to go.

fitting rotates freely once installed, right? trying to sort out a tight hose routing on a brake line job and need something that ain't gonna fight me on angle

the banjo body rotates a full 360 degrees around the bolt once it's assembled. That's the whole point of this style of fitting. You run the hollow bolt through the banjo eye, seat your copper washers on both sides, and then you can swing the hose end to whatever angle clears your routing before you torque everything down. Makes a real difference in tight spots where a fixed fitting would leave you fighting the hose.
