Been hunting around for a banjo fitting that'll work with 3/8 hose and a 1/2-inch bolt hole, this the right one?

That's what this fitting is built for. The HFB315 takes a 3/8-inch hose and uses a 1/2-inch bolt, so if those are your sizes, you're looking at the right part. Brakequip machines these pretty tight, so the fit tends to be solid without a lot of fuss getting it seated right.
