fitting says 10mm inner diameter and 11.5mm thread, just wanna make sure I'm reading that right before I order. them two numbers refer to different dimensions on the same fitting?

Correct reading on that. The 10mm is the inner bore diameter, which is the opening that fluid passes through. The 11.5mm is the thread size, which is what connects the fitting to the mating port or bolt. Two separate measurements on the same piece, so you need both to line up with whatever you're connecting to on your system.
