got a tight spot on a brake line, will this swivel nut keep the line from twisting up while i tighten it
Question by: Ralph R on Dec 9, 2025, 10:43 AM
With the swivel design, the nut can rotate freely during installation, so you can tighten it down without putting that same twist into the brake line. That helps a lot in confined areas or when the line has to come in at an angle.

Got a brake line that keeps wanting to twist up on me when I tighten the fitting, would something like this swivel nut help with that?
Question by: Steve M on May 16, 2025, 11:37 AM
That's exactly the kind of situation this fitting is built for. The nut rotates freely during installation, so you can torque it down without transferring any of that rotational force to the line itself. Keeps the line from winding up or kinking as you seat the connection. If line twist has been giving you trouble, swapping to a swivel nut style usually clears it right up.
