what's the spacing recommendation for 3-inch pipe with these clamps? trying to figure out how many i need for a run.

For 3-inch pipe, the recommended support spacing is 12 feet. So if you know the total length of your run, just divide by 12 and that gives you a solid starting point for how many clamps to plan for. Keep in mind this clamp is sized for an 88.9 mm outside diameter, which works out to 3.5-inch tubing or 3-inch pipe, so make sure that matches what you're working with before ordering.
