Heavy Duty Hydrostatic Pumps, Up To 6.43 cu in/rev, Up To 6000 PSI, Up To 4500 RPM

CAUTION

Before the pump is started, fill the case through the uppermost drain port with hydraulic fluid of the type to be used. (The typical installation has the excess charge pump flow from the motor's charge pressure relief valve flushing the case on the pump. The motor's upper case drain line connects to the lower case port on the pump. The upper case port on the pump returns back to tank, often through a heat exchanger). The pump and motor cases must remain full at all times.

Dimensions

Series 2

Fluid Viscosity

80-180 SSU is optimum. 60 SSU is low intermittent limit. 10,000 SSU is high intermittent limit (cold start-up).

Peak Pressure

Series 1: 6000 PSI. Series 2: 6250 PSI. (Peak Pressure should not exceed 1% of operating time).

Recommended Filtration

ISO 4406 Cleanliness Level 18/13 or cleaner.

Series 1 Features

6000 PSI Pressure Rating. 10,000 Hour B10 Bearing Design Life. Advanced cylinder barrel design permits high speed and pressure. Pistons have long engagement with cylinder bore resulting in low leakage. Hydraulic Servo Control provides low effort operation with low control pressure. High strength swashplates resist deflection under high load. High strength cast iron housings provide greater noise damping and wall strength. Cast iron body geroter charge pumps. Bi-metal bearing plate has steel for high speed and pressure and bronze for greater bearing properties. A wide variety of configurations and options are available (Contact us for additional information).

Series 2 Features

6250 PSI Pressure Rating. Speeds to 4510 RPM. Electronic Controls. The Series 2 Pump’s single piece pump housing provides exceptional strength and soundproofing. The high-strength, one-piece swashplate has the swashlever and servo-pin integrated into the swashplate, delivering increased reliability without adding extra weight. A large diameter single servo piston permits pump operation at lower charge pressures, minimizing parasitic charge pump losses for increased overall pump efficiency. A large centering spring, housed within the servo piston, returns the pump to neutral in the event of control pressure loss. The new integral gerotor type charge pump combines excellent suction/speed capabilities in a compact design. The pump mounted electronics and sensors have been specially designed to meet the rigors of the mobile - off road enviroment, including resistance to electromagnetic interference or emissions. The serviceable bi-metal bearing plate has steel for high pressure capability and a bronze bearing face for high speed capabilities. SAE auxiliary mounts: “A,” “B,” “B-B” and “C” are available with and without charge pump. Excellent torque capability allows high horsepower to work circuits without multiple pump drives. The main system ports – SAE code 61 and code 62 – are available with SAE or Metric threads. Opposite side and same side configurations are now available to accommodate a wide range of installations.

Speed Ratings

Main Pump and Charge Pump have different maximum speed ratings. Use the lower rating for the combination.

System Temperature

180°F Normal Continuous Limit, 220°F Maximum Intermittent Limit.
