got a few different he2000 units runnin around the shop. will i need to track down specific adapter sizes for each one or are they universal

Tracking down multiple sizes is not necessary for that series. Every HE2000 power unit is built to use the exact same adapter size across the board.

For HE2000 Series power units, these adapter kits are meant for both paths. They can be used to repair or modify existing HE2000 units, or to build a custom HE2000 unit from the ground up, and the model code is used to help pick the right kit for a custom setup.

Both, actually. The kits work for repairing or modifying existing HE2000 Series power units and for building custom units from the ground up. There's a Model Code system built into the HE2000 lineup that helps with kit selection when you're putting together a custom unit, so that takes some of the guesswork out of it.
