Product Questions & Answers

This shaft got a 30-day lead time on it, is that pretty standard for this kind of part, or is that somethin' I oughta plan around when scheduling a repair?
Question by: Todd W on Apr 2, 2026, 6:53 AM
For genuine OEM spare parts in this category, a 30-day lead time is fairly common. These aren't typically kept on shelves in high volume, so if you've got a motor down or a scheduled overhaul coming up, it's worth getting the order in well ahead of time rather than waiting until you're in a bind.

got a Hydrokraft X Series low speed piston motor, is this the right shaft to swap in?
Question by: Chad J on Jul 12, 2025, 7:09 AM
For Hydrokraft low speed piston motors that use the X Series motor platform, this is a genuine replacement shaft from Danfoss Power Solutions that was formerly sold under the Eaton Vickers name, so it is intended as a direct replacement in that platform.

This shaft got a 30-day lead time on it — is that pretty standard for a spare part like this, or is there something I oughta know before I go ahead and order?
Question by: Shane M on Nov 20, 2025, 9:21 AM
For genuine OEM spare parts sourced through Danfoss Power Solutions, a 30-day lead time is fairly typical. These aren't shelf-stock items in most cases. If you're planning maintenance or a scheduled rebuild on a Hydrokraft low-speed piston motor, it's worth getting the order in early so you're not sitting on a machine waiting for the part to come in.

Can you tell me what this Hydrokraft shaft is actually for? I'm not real familiar with them.
Question by: Scott C on Jul 2, 2025, 10:08 AM
This shaft is specifically made to work inside Hydrokraft low-speed piston motors. It's a drivetrain part that keeps the motor running right, especially where you need a lot of torque at a low speed.

got a Hydrokraft low-speed piston motor in the X Series, is this shaft a straight swap or am i missing something
Question by: Steve Y on Aug 1, 2025, 6:15 PM
Built as a genuine spare part for Hydrokraft low-speed piston motors in the X Series platform, it is meant to serve as a direct replacement shaft to keep the motor drivetrain intact. It comes in different configurations and sizes, so the match depends on selecting the correct configuration for your motor.

Is this shaft specifically for the X Series Hydrokraft motors, or will it cross over to other Danfoss piston motor lines?
Question by: Todd B on Nov 21, 2025, 5:09 PM
Fitment on this one is specific to the X Series motor platform within the Hydrokraft low-speed piston motor line. It won't cross over to other Danfoss piston motor families outside that platform. Worth double-checking your motor's full spec against the part number HC966062011000 before you put the order in, since Hydrokraft comes in a range of configurations and sizes and you want to make sure you're pulling the right shaft for your exact unit.
