got a low-pressure air line setup in the shop. is this Polyforce Red hose meant for air and water or is it more of a hydraulic thing

For low-pressure service, it fits right in for general-purpose air and water use. It is built with a single ply braid reinforcement and a PVC tube and cover, so it is not positioned as a high-pressure hydraulic hose in this description.
