Product Questions & Answers

got an old carbureted small engine that runs hot, is this H057 hose the right kind for a fuel line or is it more for something else
Question by: Dale P on Sep 23, 2025, 8:53 PM
For low pressure fuel lines on passenger cars, light trucks, and small engines, the H057 is a match. It is built for high temperature fuel service and uses a nitrile tube with a neoprene cover, plus fiber reinforcement, which fits the kind of under-hood heat and abrasion you see on small engine setups.

been running my old carbureted truck on this kind of hose for years but the last stuff I bought elsewhere kept cracking on me in the heat. this rated for high temps or is it more of a standard setup?
Question by: Marvin A on Oct 9, 2025, 7:28 PM
Heat resistance is actually one of the stronger points on this hose. It carries a temperature range starting at -40 degrees Celsius on the cold end and holds up through high operating temperatures on the other side, which makes it a solid pick for engine bay fuel line work on older carbureted cars and light trucks. The nitrile tube and neoprene cover combination is what handles that thermal load. Keep in mind this is built for low pressure fuel systems, so carbureted and small engine setups are right in its wheelhouse. Fuel injected applications are not what this hose is intended for.

Can this hose handle regular gas and diesel alright for my old pickup?
Question by: Scott C on Sep 7, 2025, 4:34 PM
Designed for low-pressure, high-temperature fuel applications, this hose works with many common fuel types in passenger cars, light trucks, and small engines.
