couplings already on it, right? i’m trying not to fool with putting ends on in the field

Comes as a ready-to-connect hose assembly with couplings installed on both ends, so you are not doing on-site end fitting work to get it hooked up.

Already got couplings on both ends, or is that something I'd need to add myself before putting it to work?

Comes fully coupled right out of the box. Both ends are already fitted and ready to connect, so there's no field assembly needed before you put it on the job. That's kind of the whole point of this configuration, saving time on setup and keeping the connections consistent at both ends.
