got a motor with 7/8-14 o-ring ports and a 4 bolt mount, is that what this one has?

It uses .875-14 UNF-2B SAE O-ring ports (7/8-14 straight thread O-ring) and a 4 bolt mounting flange, so those two connection points match what you described.

motor's been sitting a while before I got it installed, any break-in steps I should follow before putting it under full load?

Run it for roughly an hour at about 30% of rated pressure before you put it to work at full capacity. Make sure the motor is filled with hydraulic fluid before you apply any load at all. Skipping that step is one of the faster ways to shorten the life of a motor like this, so it's worth the extra time upfront.
