Product Questions & Answers

what's the break-in procedure for this motor before putting it under full load?
Question by: Lynn H on Apr 24, 2025, 9:47 AM
Run it for about an hour at roughly 30% of rated pressure before you throw a full load on it. Make sure the motor is filled with fluid before any load gets applied. Skipping that step or rushing through it can shorten the motor's life considerably, so it's worth taking the time upfront.

trying to swap out an old char-lynn motor on an auger. is this one the 4-bolt mount with a 1 inch straight keyed shaft?
Question by: Howard C on Nov 1, 2025, 11:00 AM
This motor is set up with a 4 bolt mounting flange and a 1 in straight keyed shaft. It also uses 1/2 NPTF dryseal pipe thread ports, so those are the key connection points to match up.
