Product Questions & Answers

What kind of stuff can I run through this hose? I'm thinkin' hydraulic fluid, but what else?
Question by: Joyce G on Dec 24, 2025, 9:02 AM
This Aeroquip hose handles hydraulics, crude, fuel and lubricating oils, gasoline, water, and phosphate ester base hydraulic fluids.

got a tight spot to route hose. what’s the minimum bend radius on this GH194-16?
Question by: Wayne T on Aug 13, 2025, 6:16 AM
For the GH194-16, the minimum bend radius is 11.81, so you will want to keep your routing at or above that to avoid kinking and premature wear.

hose is rated for phosphate ester fluids? got some equipment running that stuff and trying to figure out if this'll hold up
Question by: Carl W on Apr 28, 2025, 5:21 PM
Phosphate ester base hydraulic fluids are listed as a compatible application for this hose. The AQP inner tube is built to handle that fluid type along with crude oil, fuel, lubricating oils, gasoline, and water-based hydraulic fluids. Rated down to negative 40 degrees for cold weather use as well, so temperature swings in unheated environments shouldn't be a problem.

hose rated for phosphate ester fluids or just standard hydraulic oil?
Question by: Kurt H on Feb 15, 2026, 7:20 PM
Phosphate ester base hydraulic fluids are explicitly listed as compatible, along with standard hydraulic oils, crude oil, fuel, lubricating oils, gasoline, and water. The AQP inner tube handles that range without issue, so you're covered on both counts.

What size is this hose, like the inside diameter?
Question by: Pete T on Nov 12, 2025, 6:37 AM
It's a dash size -16, so that refers to the inner diameter.
